Liverpool target Ibrahima Konate is house hunting in Liverpool ahead of his impending move to Anfield, with the switch now a formality.
Anfield Central sources have been told that the Frenchman has begun his search for a home in Liverpool as a move to Merseyside edges ever closer.
Just about every stage of the process that is signing a player from another club has been complete with payment of the release clause and a medical still remaining as well as a few minor paperwork issues.
Personal terms haven’t been an issue for some time now ever since a verbal agreement was reached at the start of the month. Personal terms followed soon after and, as Fabrizio Romano confirmed this week, a £30.5m deal is close to being completed.

Konate’s move to Liverpool seems inevitable now but supporters will feel insecure about the last time a Frenchman was almost through the door, with Nabil Fekir’s traumatising transfer saga still fresh in the eyes of supporters.
The former Lyon skipper was pushing hard for a move to Anfield and even conducted his LFC TV media duties before a deal was scuppered over a knee injury, with the player’s brother also reportedly playing a role in the move being called off.
Konate’s injury history is still a question mark but Liverpool are clearly confident that it won’t be an issue going forward.
