Conor Bradley’s solid performance off the bench in Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Manchester United on Sunday has further bolstered his case for more regular first-team opportunities.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold sidelined, Bradley came on and held his own, showing composure and contributing effectively to his side’s defensive stability.
Now, with Jurgen Klopp gone and Arne Slot taking over at Liverpool, it’s crucial for Bradley to continue impressing.
Slot will be looking for players who can adapt to his tactical system, and Bradley’s recent form puts him in a favourable position. His ability to slot in at right-back and his versatility on the right-hand side offer valuable options for the new manager.

This is Bradley’s chance to make a lasting impression at Anfield, especially as Liverpool seeks depth across all positions for a demanding season.
Bradley’s talent was already well recognized during his loan spell and his contributions last season at Liverpool, where he made 23 appearances and played a crucial role in various matches.
While still behind Alexander-Arnold in the pecking order, Bradley has shown he can step up when called upon. His energetic display against Manchester United reflects his readiness to take on bigger responsibilities.

His importance isn’t limited to Liverpool. Bradley has also continued to shine on the international stage with Northern Ireland.
After a 2-0 win over Luxembourg in the Nations League, the 21-year-old was hailed by Northern Ireland manager Martin O’Neill as one of the standout performers.
O’Neill praised Bradley’s athleticism and versatility, emphasising that the young full-back has what it takes to reach a high level in the game.
“Conor can play anywhere on the right-hand side of the pitch with ease. He has the athleticism and quality as well,” O’Neill said “We saw that with him tonight, he always looks capable of getting in behind. He will be much more than a right back for us.
“He’s just turned 21, he’s a terrific player, and the attributes are there for everyone to see. Conor will go to a very, very high level in the game. It’s game time that he needs and he’s at a club where that’s not easy to get.
“But when he comes here he embraces it and embraces the chance to play. He had a little bit of cramp near the end tonight which is alien to Conor. He has that natural athleticism.”
As the 2024/25 season unfolds, Bradley’s challenge is to consistently deliver strong performances and catch Slot’s eye. With game time crucial for his development, Bradley must seize every opportunity to prove he belongs in Liverpool’s plans for the future.
