Liverpool could make surprise sale this month with three Premier League teams interested in £20m star
Liverpool have three clubs interested in signing Divock Origi and selling him would be a surprise as the club has yet to receive a £20 million bid.
Wolves, Crystal Palace and West Ham are interested in the forward, as per the Telegraph, and if they manage to sell him, it would come as a real surprise.
Origi has the potential to be one hell of a player but is never going to get the game time he needs to prosper at Anfield.
He hasn't seemed the same since Funes Mori injured him in 2016 and while the 2018/19 season was just incredible on a personal level, he's struggled to find the same impact from the bench ever since.
Playing as a backup striker is an almost impossible job as you're constantly feeding on scraps and yet you're judged to the same standards as the other forwards at the club.
While it's unreasonable, Origi is compared to Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota despite playing vastly fewer minutes.
Origi going to a club like West Ham would do wonders for his career but he seems quite content to stay at Liverpool and remain as a backup striker which is frustrating.
Of course, he can't force clubs to submit bids but if he showed more interest in leaving I am sure there'd be more interest in him as a result.
A strike partnership of Michail Antonio and Origi would be put most Premier League teams to bed but it seems likely that the 26-year-old will stay on Merseyside for another season.
