Liverpool could agree swap deal for £131M superstar with £22M rated midfielder going the other way

Liverpool could strike up an agreement for Jude Bellingham by offering Naby Keita in what would be an ambitious swap deal.

The Reds are seriously interested in Bellingham and have been linked profusely in recent months and this could be a move that satisfies all parties.

Keita is in the final year of his deal and Liverpool are currently debating whether to give him a new deal.

Could a swap deal work?

According to SPORT BILD via The Express, "The Merseyside giants could attempt to thrash out a swap deal that would see the two midfielders moving in opposite directions."

Bellingham is reportedly priced around £83M and that's if they can add Keita into that deal, it could become a more suitable transfer figure.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Keita has at least '3 or 4' clubs interested in him and one of those includes Dortmund which adds validity to the claim of a swap deal.

The move would certainly benefit Keita as he looks to restart his career in a league where he was very successful with RB Leipzig before joining Liverpool.

Whether it would be enough to swing the deal their way remains to be seen, but the Keita situation is going to continue to develop as the Reds will not want to lose their player for free at the end of the season.
