Harvey Elliott: "Excuse my French but… F*cking unbelievable!"

Liverpool supporters are some of the most passionate and vocal in the world.

This has not been lost on Harvey Elliott, who couldn't contain himself when watching the fans celebrate Liverpool's tenth Carabao Cup trophy on Sunday.

The EFL shared a video on their official YouTube channel showing the behind the scenes from the final at Wembley and it's given us a priceless moment from Elliott.

The 20-year-old was watching the supporters celebrate the club's latest major trophy and their signing left him astonished.

Turning to the camera, Elliott said: "Excuse my French but… F*cking unbelievable!"

Elliott has been a vital player in Jurgen Klopp's team this season not just in the Carabao Cup but particularly in the cup tournament.

While he has zero goals or assists in six League Cup appearances this season, he has averaged two key passes per game as his creativity shines through more and more in this super-talented Liverpool team.

It's exciting to think how good Elliott could be in a few years especially because his mentality is perfect.

After running himself into the ground for successive wins over Luton Town and Chelsea, Elliott says he's prepared to do it all again for more silverware.

“Digging in deep – it came off the back of 90 minutes in midweek – is what you live for. This is why you’re a footballer,” Elliott said.

The midfielder continued: “You need to push yourself to the max in order to get results and we did that.

“To come away with a victory is massive but we need to put it behind us, make sure we are recovered and focused on Wednesday.

“It will be another big test against Southampton as they are doing well this season and are going to cause us problems.

“I can’t wait for another game.”

What a player and prospect the 20-year-old is. The sky really is the limit for this lad.
