Liverpool were delighted last week after Mo Salah agreed to extend his contract by two more years. He could still leave at the end of next season, but there is a calmer atmosphere around his future at Anfield. Virgil van Dijk is also expected to sign his new deal soon, and one more player has pledged his future to the club.
Arne Slot is plotting a major revamp of the squad this summer, but the Liverpool manager is also keen to ensure that the club hold on to some of their best players.
Liverpool have hit roadblocks in negotiations over a new deal with Ibrahima Konate, and even talks with Conor Bradley and Curtis Jones have been more complicated than expected.
However, Liverpool are set for some joy in the coming days as a player is now close to signing a new and improved contract with the club ahead of the summer.
Can you name the team Liverpool signed these players from?
Reds goalkeeper agrees on fresh terms

Vitezslav Jaros joined the Liverpool academy in 2017 and made his first-team debut in October last year when he came on against Crystal Palace.
His current deal expires at the end of the season, and he was expected to move on from the club at the end of the season.
However, according to inFotbal.cz, Liverpool have decided to keep the goalkeeper at Anfield beyond the end of the ongoing campaign.
Jaros has agreed to fresh terms and will soon sign a new contract with the Merseyside giants, but the club have plans for him next year.
The Reds are plotting to loan him out to one of the top five European leagues next season to aid his development and let him get more first-team experience.
He only made his first start for Liverpool earlier this year when he played in an EFL Cup win over Brighton.
