Liverpool are set to undergo a major overhaul over the summer despite the club being on the brink of winning the Premier League title. The club are planning to shift out several players in the summer, but one of the signings they have lined up has made a key demand before he agrees to move to Anfield.

Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk agreeing to new contracts have lifted a massive weight off the club’s shoulders ahead of the summer transfer window.

However, Trent Alexander-Arnold is still set to leave on a free transfer, and Arne Slot is pushing for a reconfiguration of their attack next season, which could see Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz leaving in the summer.

Slot has also been planning to revamp the club’s goalkeeping department ahead of next season, but he could be forced to hit the pause button on that in the coming months.

Incoming Red makes a key demand to the club

Liverpool worked out a deal to sign Giorgi Mamardashvili last summer and left him on loan at Valencia for one more season.

He is slated to move to Anfield ahead of next season, but according to Cadena SER, via Estadio Deportivo, that might not happen in the summer transfer window.

It has been claimed that Mamardashvili wants Alisson Becker to leave the club before he arrives at Anfield, as he wants to be the guaranteed number one at Anfield.

While he is worried about the money he is losing by being at Valencia, he is happy to stay in Spain for one more season unless Liverpool offer him guarantees.

He does not want to sit behind Alisson at Anfield and is more than willing to stay at Valencia for another year, where he is the undisputed number one.

Liverpool have not decided on the Brazilian’s future, but he does have an astronomical offer on his table to move to Saudi Arabia.
