Liverpool “willing to pay” €50m “immediately” to complete signing: €1B exit clause deal on the table from Euro giant

Liverpool Willing to Pay €50million before Gavi Signs €1B Exit Clause Deal

FC Barcelona want 17-year-old midfielder Gavi to sign a new contract with a €1Billion exit clause included but Liverpool have yet to give up.

According to the print edition of Spanish daily newspaper SPORT, Liverpool are ready to pay the €50million release clause already included in Gavi’s current contract.

Tomas Andreu reports that the Reds are willing to pay the sum “immediately the moment the player “opens the door to a possible exit from Barca.

Despite his age, Gavi has shown that he is ready to star on the biggest stage and signing him would be the perfect way to bounce back after the Aurelien Tchouameni saga.

The Frenchman had been on Liverpool’s radar for a few years and was even agreed personal terms with the Reds.

However, Tchouameni also agreed terms with Real Madrid and has ultimately given the green light over a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

If reports of Liverpool interest are true, they have acted quickly to ensure they don’t waste their opportunity to reinforce the squad this summer.

Gavi would be phenomenal at Anfield.

For a start, he would be able to play and learn from Thiago Alcantara not to mention several other world-class players at Liverpool.

Most importantly, he would get the chance to train under Jurgen Klopp.

The former Mainz and Borussia Dortmund boss specialises in helping players reach their full potential and given how good Gavi already is, the 17-year-old could become a superstar at Liverpool.

He’d likely reach an unbelievable level even if doesn’t join the Reds but I just think with Klopp in charge, the talent already at Liverpool and the way the Kop treats its players, he’d become something truly special on Merseyside.

Gavi would be particularly appreciated by the Anfield faithful as he has that dogged, relentless work ethic that the home crowd simply adores.

Think Dirk Kuyt, Luis Suarez, Andy Robertson.

Gavi would be an instant crowd favourite if he joined Liverpool.

Even in spite of his youth, €50million (£42m) for a player with his potential is a great deal.
