Liverpool willing to listen to offers for wantaway star

Come this summer, Liverpool are bracing themselves for some departures.

The reds are set to make big changes to the squad in the summer. Liverpool have had a great campaign, and could end it with a few trophies. Arne Slot has done an exceptional job with the team. No one really gave the reds a chance as title contenders. As of this month, Liverpool are in contention for the treble. Anfield could see another Premier League trophy and Champions League trophy in the next few months.

Liverpool have already booked a place in the League Cup final against Newcastle later this month.

Liverpool could sell first team star

Liverpool are willing to wait till the summer to make any significant changes to the squad. The reds rejected any offers for players in January. Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold were all linked with moves away from the club. Nunez and Salah had big offers from Saudi Arabia, while the reds rejected an early bid from Real Madrid.

Ahead of the summer, Liverpool are dealing with multiple contracts of first team players. Salah, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold are out of contract in the next few months. Late last year, Ibrahima Konate revealed that he has a contract offer on the table. The reds also reportedly had hopes of renewing Harvey Elliot’s contract after his performances this season.

Caomhin Kelleher is on the shortlist of multiple Premier League clubs this summer. Newcastle and Chelsea are leading the pack according to sources. The Ireland international is entering the last few months of his deal at Anfield. Liverpool will reluctantly listen to offers for the 26-year old as the summer approaches. Kelleher is valued around £30million and £40million.

Kelleher has been vital in Liverpool’s run to the League Cup final.

Reds making the right decision

Kelleher could be the third choice keeper by the start of next season. With Giorgi Mamardashvili set to arrive from his loan, the Ireland international could find less playing time. Liverpool are planning for the Valencia loanee to succeed Alisson.

The reds need to accept offers for Kelleher, he would command a decent fee as reported. He has shown himself capable of being a starter in the Premier League. A fee around £40million would be enough to reinvest in the squad in what is expected to be a very busy summer transfer window.
