Liverpool and Manchester City are reportedly both interested in signing Yeremy Pino from Villarreal although his release clause may be a big issue.
Jurgen Klopp has a wealth of attacking talent to select from ahead of this weekend’s Premier League kickoff.
The football is finally back!
I’ve really enjoyed watching the lads during pre-season but there’s nothing like the Premier League.
We were given a fantastic first glimpse at what the Reds could achieve this season with the 3-1 win over Manchester City in the Charity Shield at the King Power.
Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez all impressed and have us fans buzzing but do Liverpool need another new forward?

Reports in Spain are linking Liverpool with a move for one of the La Liga’s most talented youngsters.

According to reports from Spain, Liverpool are among a number of clubs who could make a move for the 19-year-old.
It has been claimed that Pino’s new deal has a release clause believed to be worth €80M (£67M), an increase from the original €35M (£39M).
He would have faced the Reds this season in the Champions if it were not for an injury which ruled out him both legs of their Champions League semi-final.
Who is Yeremy Pino and why is he so exciting?
Pino, 19, is a rising star currently playing for Villarreal and has caught the eye of many a football fan and top club in recent years.
He is very much the all-action attacker.

Take his game against Espanyol in February, he scored four goals whilst also creating four chances and managed six ball recoveries.
Across 40 games in all competitions, the Spaniard managed seven goals and four assists and can play on either wing, centrally in an attacking role or even as a deeper wide midfielder.
On the defensive side, an incredibly important trait for a Klopp attacker, according to FBref, Pino works incredibly hard defensively, sitting in the 99th percentile for blocks across the top European leagues in his position.

Jurgen Klopp can do without another new forward this summer
Due to their extremely timely business, Klopp can afford to wait another year before making any moves for attacking targets.
Of course, the Reds could sign whoever they wanted to, but with the signings of Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho, they look set for another season.
The question marks will arise next summer with Roberto Firmino still in the final year of his deal and Pino may be an option.
But, for now, fans can rely on the attacking merits of Luis Diaz, Nunez and the league’s premier attacker Mohamed Salah.
