Liverpool title-winning star set for stunning Spain switch

Liverpool expect to move on several players from their title-winning squad as part of their transfer plans this summer. A few stars are almost certain to leave, and one of those title heroes has agreed to move to Spain in the upcoming transfer window.

Arne Slot is not against the idea of major surgery on his squad this summer, and the club are prepared to back his vision for the team ahead of next season.

Liverpool have major plans to strengthen the squad in key areas, but they are also focused on outgoings, with as many as ten players expected to leave the club in the coming weeks and months.

The Merseyside giants are waiting for concrete offers to land on their table, but it seems one player has already chosen his next destination after Liverpool.

A top Reds star has chosen his next club

Darwin Nunez’s fate at Liverpool is sealed, and he is almost certain to move on from Anfield at the end of the season.

Al-Hilal are pushing hard to sign him before next month’s World Cup, but it seems the forward has very different ideas for his future.

According to Spanish radio station Cadena SER, the striker has made it clear that he would want to move to Atletico Madrid in the upcoming transfer window.

The club have already held talks with the striker, and he told them that he wants to play for Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid.

He has given his approval to a move to Spain, and the club will now have to work out an agreement over a fee with Liverpool in the upcoming window.

Liverpool are said to be interested in a swap involving Julian Alvarez moving to Anfield as part of a deal that would see Nunez joining Atletico Madrid.
