Liverpool target demands transfer

Arne Slot will have to play a new backup for Mohamed Salah

Liverpool are planning to add more goals to their squad in the upcoming transfer windows and are keeping tabs on several strikers and wide forwards as part of their strategy.

The Merseyside giants are almost certain to sign a number 9 at the end of the season as Darwin Nunez has continued to fail to convince as the central striker in the team.

Liverpool are also looking at wide forwards as the club are still not aware whether Mohamed Salah will be at Anfield next season with the star man yet to agree to sign a new contract with the club.

Richard Hughes and his recruitment team are looking at several options across Europe but they also have eyes on players in the Premier League who could be interested in a move to Anfield.

West Ham star Mohammed Kudus has emerged as a target for Liverpool who are considering making a move for him in the next summer transfer window.

It has been claimed that Liverpool could get encouragement from the player in the coming months.

Kudus wants to leave West Ham

Kudus is having a complicated season at West Ham like the rest of the team and have only scored twice in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian winger is not happy at the moment in East London and is not pleased with the way he has been playing this season.

According to Sky Sports reporter Sacha Tavolieri, Kudus is demanding to leave the Hammers next season.

He is not happy with life at West Ham and believes a bigger club will get the best out of him if he gets a chance to move on from the London Stadium.

Kudus is pushing to leave the Hammers but for the moment, a move away from the London Stadium could be a bit complicated in the coming months.

West Ham have clearly told the player if any club want to sign him they will have to trigger his £85m release clause in his current contract.

Liverpool are keen to sign Kudus but they are in no mood to pay such a high figure for the player at the end of the season.
