Manchester City have been in contact with his representatives and are discussing a potential deal to sign the Bournemouth defender this summer.

The Cherries are prepared to sell him if they receive a fee in the region of £50m in the upcoming transfer window. Manchester City are willing to match any financial offer from Liverpool for the left-back.
