Liverpool face a Manchester City threat in the chase for a top target

Milos Kerkez has been the priority left-back target at Liverpool for months, and the club are close to securing a deal to sign him this summer.
The Hungarian has also been in touch with the Liverpool recruiters to communicate his desire to move to Anfield in the next transfer window.
However, according to TEAMTalk, Manchester City have barged into the race to sign the Bournemouth star, who is deemed the best left-back in Europe.
Pep Guardiola wants a new left-back, and his club are now pushing to try and convince the defender to move to the Etihad over Anfield this summer.
Manchester City have been in contact with his representatives and are discussing a potential deal to sign the Bournemouth defender this summer.
The Cherries are prepared to sell him if they receive a fee in the region of £50m in the upcoming transfer window. Manchester City are willing to match any financial offer from Liverpool for the left-back.
