Arsenal’s interest in Real Madrid star will have a bearing on Liverpool

Arda Guler is a talented young winger at Real Madrid who has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this season.

Arsenal are interested in adding the 20-year-old to their attacking options for next season and want to make a move for him in the upcoming window.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Gunners are prepared to offer a fee in the region of £35m in the next window to take Guler to the Emirates Stadium.

However, Arsenal’s interest will have a direct impact on Real Madrid’s willingness to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Liverpool in the summer.

The Spanish giants have prioritised signing the Reds star, and are plotting to offer Guler to Liverpool as part of a potential swap deal.

It is unclear whether Liverpool would be interested in doing such a deal. Guler is an ace in Real Madrid’s pack because of the Reds’ prior interest in the Turkish winger.

However, all that could go up in smoke if Mikel Arteta ends up selling a move to the Emirates to Guler in the summer window.
