Mohamed Salah has been the talk of the town at Liverpool alongside Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold. All three have their contracts expiring at the end of this season with no talks about extension.
The Reds have already started scouting replacements for Virgil van Dijk as they have identified both Nathan Zézé and Castello Lukeba as future prospects.
There are yet to be talks of a Mohamed Salah replacement though as the Merseysiders have put their eyes on an almost impossible target for the right flank.

Liverpool keenly interested in FC Barcelona wonder kid Lamine Yamal
According to The Independent’s Miguel Delaney, Liverpool is keen on signing Euro 2024 winner Lamine Yamal. The Spanish winger is considered untouchable by the Blaugranes as they have already rejected huge offers for his departure.
The Spanish giants rejected a £200 million offer for Yamal. This huge sum was sent in by Nasser Al-Khelaifi-owned Paris Saint-Germain who wanted to secure their right flank.
Lamine Yamal, 17, has seen immense success in football. He has already won the UEFA Euros with the Spanish national team and might very well win the World Cup in two years.
His current contract runs till 2026 and there will be an extension when he turns 18. The player’s release clause is set at around £833 million. This price is exorbitantly high considering the player’s age.
Interestingly, Reds rivals Arsenal are also interested in signing the Spaniard. With Bukayo Saka already set on the right wing, it is quite unconventional for the Gunners to think of Lamine Yamal.
Yamal has already scored six goals and assisted seven this season. This is only after 14 appearances across all competitions. Looking at the stats, it is not surprising for these clubs to think about signing the youngster.
Reds also interested in ‘Sadio Mané 2.0’
Alongside Lamine Yamal, the Reds are also thinking of signing Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian is tearing up the Bundesliga by racking goals and assists at an unprecedented race.
However, Liverpool already has a few players down the left flank. Hence, it is surprising to see them show interest in someone like Omar Marmoush.
Mainly a left winger, Omar can also play on the right wing. Yamal’s signing will prove to be a monumental task for the English giants hence focusing on Marmoush might be in their best interests.
The Cairo native stands ahead of Harry Kane in the Bundesliga top scorers list. He also tops the assist providers list in Germany with seven to his name.
