A top Reds target is almost certain to leave his current club

Bryan Mbeumo is having another brilliant season at Brentford, and some of the biggest clubs in Europe are interested in snaring him away from the Bees.

Manchester United have identified him as a potential solution for their goalscoring woes, but Liverpool are pushing hard to take him to Anfield as well.

Mbeumo’s experience in the Premier League and his proven track record of finding the back of the net consistently are attractive for Liverpool, who want a versatile forward like him.

Brentford captain Christian Norgaard has more or less confirmed that the forward will leave the club in the upcoming summer transfer window.

“I think Bryan is likely to go”, Norgaard told Sky Sports News.

Brentford are aware that the forward will likely move on due to the interest from the Premier League’s heavyweights.

However, they are looking for somewhere around £65m before agreeing to sell Mbeumo in the upcoming summer transfer window.
