Liverpool are the Premier League champions, but Arne Slot is determined to ensure that they do not let this moment pass by. The Reds boss wants several new signings to shake up his title-winning squad, and one of his targets seems keen to get a move over the line soon.
The Merseyside giants have already drawn up plans for the summer, and they are clear about the areas of their squad that need strengthening in the summer.
Slot is looking to reconfigure the attack through the potential arrivals of a new striker and a couple of wide forwards. However, the Dutchman also wants fresh blood in defence ahead of the new season.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes has been conducting talks with players’ representatives, and it seems one of his targets is very much sold on a move to Anfield this summer.

Premier League stars tells Liverpool he wants the move

Milos Kerkez has been on the Liverpool shortlist for months, as there is a clear sign that the club want a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson.
There are claims that the recruitment team are not completely sold on him, and the club still retain an interest in Fulham’s Antonee Robinson ahead of the summer.
However, Kerkez is playing his part to convince the Reds, and according to TEAMTalk, he is directly in contact with Liverpool recruiters ahead of the next window.
He has communicated to the club that he wants the move and is excited about being Liverpool’s left-back for the foreseeable future.
Bournemouth are ready to sell him, and Kerkez is expected to move on if a club offer a deal worth £45m to the Cherries.
The Merseyside giants are considering several players, but the Hungarian’s willingness shows that he is prepared to do more to secure his dream move to Anfield.
