Liverpool scouts have been flocking to youth tournaments, and all that work is set to pay off as the club are set to seal a deal to sign a stunning speedster from Africa.

According to France Football, the Merseyside giants are on the verge of signing Senegal Under-17 star Sidy Barhama Ndiaye in the ongoing transfer window.

The 15-year-old winger impressed in the recently held Under-17 African Cup of Nations, and several clubs are interested in getting their hands on the player.

It has been claimed Liverpool have moved in quickly to sign the teenage winger from the Diambars Academy in Senegal.

The Reds have agreed to pay a fee of £850,000 to take him to Merseyside in the ongoing transfer window.

The deal is progressing, and the negotiations are expected to be finalised in the coming days for Ndiaye to move to Liverpool.
