Manchester United have intensified contacts with the player’s representatives and are close to selling him a move to Old Trafford ahead of next season.

Atalanta are in no mood to compromise on their €60m asking price, and Manchester United are expected to fork out that fee if Ederson agrees to join the Red Devils.
