With Liverpool on the verge of winning the Premier League title, FSG are ready to loosen the purse strings to back Arne Slot’s vision for the team this summer. It seems the Reds have received active encouragement to chase a Ballon d’Or contender in the coming months.
Slot wants to completely revamp the squad in the summer transfer window, and is particularly focused on having a new attack ahead of next season.
The Liverpool manager feels the team are far too heavily reliant on Mo Salah for goals and assists, and wants his team to have more quality when they start the defence of their title in August.
The club are looking at several young forwards, but the club could now have a genuine chance to sign one of the best attackers in world football this summer.
Can you name the team Liverpool sold these players to?
European giants ready to sell a star if a new contract is not agreed

Raphinha is one of the best forwards in the world at the moment and is almost certain to win the Ballon d’Or if the Catalan giants win the league and the Champions League.
However, his future is under the scanner, and his suitors, which include Liverpool, have been told that he could be available for a move in the next window.
Barcelona are in talks with Raphinha over a new deal, but according to CaughtOffside, the club are struggling to work out a new contract with his representatives.
The Catalan giants have financial issues, and they are finding it hard to meet Raphinha’s wage demands at the moment.
It has been claimed that if an agreement is not worked out, Barcelona would be open to selling the Brazilian for a fee in the region of €80m and €90m.
Arsenal and Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the winger’s situation at the Nou Camp.
