Liverpool are planning huge moves ahead of the summer transfer window.
The club is ready to revamp the squad Arne Slot took charge of in August. Liverpool have had great success on the field this season. Under Slot’s guidance, the team are challenging for a possible treble at this point of the season. Liverpool sit top of the league with a 13-point gap and face Newcastle in the League Cup final next weekend.
Slot has been able to get the best out of some players this campaign. Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister have greatly benefitted from the team’s new possession-based style. The Liverpool boss pointed out how the two midfielders have improved this season:
”I think they’ve improved, but if I would tell you they didn’t improve, no-one improved, then I probably would give myself a lot of criticism. They have put so much work in and the team is playing so well together that these players did improve.”

Journalist reveals Liverpool plan for Mohamed Salah

Mohamed Salah has been Liverpool’s best player this season by a large extent. The forward has scored 25 goals and provided 17 assists in the league this season. Salah is set to leave Anfield this summer when his contract expires at the end of the season. Liverpool could lose two more players as Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold could also follow Salah out of the door. All three could leave before next season, and the reds have contingencies plan.
Sacha Tavolieri has revealed Liverpool’s plan for Mohamed Salah this summer. The club are preparing for his possible exit. Tavolieri reports that the reds are planning a big move for Alexander Isak. Liverpool feel a marquee signing like the striker could soften the blow when Salah eventually leaves. Newcastle value Isak around £150million, which would be a transfer record for the reds.
The report adds that the reds are planning to sign a successor for the Egyptian international. Liverpool are looking for a player 23 years or younger who has the potential to develop and become as good as Mohamed Salah. The reds are ready to pay for quality if they find such players during the window.
Reds have accepted the possibility of losing star
This latest report shows that Liverpool are planning for a future without Salah. Which is both a good and a bad thing. The reds can plan on their future and see who they could sign as replacements. Fans at the club will also be concerned that they will lose one of Liverpool’s best ever players.
