Liverpool to finalise second signing of the summer transfer window

Milos Kerkez has been Liverpool’s top target for months despite suggestions that the club were looking at other left-back options as well.

The club have already thrashed out personal terms on a contract with the player, and Kerkez has given his nod to a move to Anfield this summer.

A broad agreement is also in place between Liverpool and Bournemouth for his transfer, but the two clubs are now ironing out the details of the deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool and Bournemouth are scheduled for one more round of talks this week to take the final deal over the line.

The Reds are keen to sort out the final agreement this week to have Kerkez on Merseyside soon to complete the formalities of the transfer.

Kerkez will fight with Andy Robertson for a place in the eleven, with Kostas Tsimikas almost certain to leave Anfield in the ongoing summer transfer window.
