Liverpool keep tabs on 12-goal Premier League attacker also wanted at Newcastle and Tottenham

Liverpool are expected to be in the market for forwards in the upcoming transfer window with Darwin Nunez still to prove himself as a reliable goalscorer in the Premier League.

Arne Slot has made a solid start to life as Liverpool’s manager and his side are sitting at the top of the Premier League standings after seven league games.

The new Liverpool boss has had a positive impact on several players with stars such as Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate playing their best football under the Dutchman.

However, Nunez has remained an enigma at Anfield and has scored just once in four Premier League appearances this season.

The €100m man is no longer a certainty in the starting eleven and Slot has often preferred to star Diogo Jota up front over Nunez in the ongoing campaign.

Liverpool are expected to be in the market for a defensive midfielder in January but many believe they should also look to bring in a striker as soon as possible.

A 12-goal Premier League attacker is on the Liverpool watchlist

Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has impressed several observers with his performances since he joined the Cherries.

According to GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool are amongst the trio of Premier League clubs who are keeping close tabs on the attacker.

Newcastle and Tottenham are the other two clubs who are keeping an eye out for the forward with their scouts regularly watching him in action.

Semenyo has 12 goals in 51 appearances in the Premier League and is a versatile forward who can play in different roles in the attacking third.

His performances have piqued the interest of several teams and he has been tipped to be good enough to play for any of the top teams in the Premier League.

Semenyo still has close to five years left on his contract with the Cherries but it hasn’t deterred clubs from keeping an eye on the forward’s impressive performances.

Bournemouth do not want to lose him so soon after selling Dominic Solanke in the summer but are likely to cash in if they receive a massive offer on their table.
