Liverpool have been in a mood for a transfer hijack this summer. They are set to beat Bayern Munich to the signature of a Florian Wirtz, and the club are now set to pull off another stunning scoop in pursuit of another top attacker in the ongoing transfer window.

The Merseyside giants are set to fork out a British record transfer fee for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Wirtz, who has rejected a bigger money offer from Bayern Munich.

Liverpool are still in the market for wide forwards due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of Luis Diaz, who is a priority target for Barcelona this summer.

Liverpool are eyeing moves for a few wide forwards, and the club are now considering carrying out a transfer hijack to sign a top talent from under the noses of one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Liverpool set to carry out transfer hijack of Rafael Leao on European giants

Rafael Leao’s future at AC Milan is under the scanner due to interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Liverpool are monitoring the situation, but Bayern Munich were actively trying to sign the winger until recently.

According to the Bayern Insider, the German giants have cooled their interest in the winger for a move in the ongoing transfer window.

The Bavarians held talks with the player and his representatives towards the end of May, but there have been no recent meetings between the two sides.

This has boosted Liverpool’s chances of carrying out a transfer hijack, and the club are considering getting their hands on the winger this summer.

AC Milan are prepared to listen to offers for him if a club are ready to match their £63m asking price this summer.
