However, according to TEAMTalk, Liverpool are set to get a clear run at Simons as Manchester United are focused on signing another player a the moment.

Ruben Amorim wants to sign a number 10, and Wolves’ Matheus Cunha has emerged as the top target for the Red Devils in the upcoming transfer window.

Manchester United are only likely to turn towards Simons if they fail to sign Cunha, who is keen to move to Old Trafford this summer.
