Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes has been working on several deals over the last few months and has certain priorities for the summer. However, the Merseyside giants have had a change of heart on a certain top target ahead of the end of the season.
Arne Slot is keen to strengthen several areas of his squad, but he has certain priorities. The Reds want to sign a centre-back, a left-back and a striker before the start of next season.
Liverpool are close to finalising a deal to sign someone even before the end of the season, but the Reds are still considering other players ahead of the summer.
However, it seems the Merseyside giants have made a giant decision on a certain top target and whether to keep trying to sign him in the upcoming transfer window.
Name the team Liverpool signed these players from in the 2010s?
The Reds do major U-turn on priority target

Dean Huijsen has been a top defensive target for Anfield for months, and Hughes has been in talks with his representatives for a while over a deal.
Liverpool have made their offer to the player, who has a £50m release clause in his contract, but Chelsea have offered him more money.
However, the centre-back seems to be on his way to Real Madrid, and Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Liverpool have walked away from a deal.
The Reds no longer believe they can sign Huijsen, who is now almost certain to join Real Madrid in the upcoming transfer window.
“Liverpool already left the conversation more than 24 hours ago because they understood that the player was giving total priority to Real Madrid”, Romano said on his YouTube channel.
“Now it’s on them to close everything with a ‘here we go’ expected very soon.”
Liverpool are now in talks to sign Benfica’s 22-year-old centre-back Tomas Araujo for a move this summer.
