Liverpool boasts one of the best defences in world football currently, with Virgil van Dijk the leader of the backline.
Van Dijk is widely regarded as the best centre-back in the world and the Reds also boast Ibrahima Konate, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez.
He will finally head to a major tournament with his country in Qatar at the end of this year where he will partner with Nathan Ake and Mathias De Ligt.
The newly-appointed Bayern Munich defender has since praised the Liverpool star – claiming him to be one of the best defenders in the world.

What De Ligt said about Van Dijk:
Speaking to ESPN, he spoke about his international teammate and rated him on the world stage.
“I think Virgil is one of the best centre-backs in the world. He is amazing. He has already shown for a couple of years that he is one of the best, if not the best.” De Ligt told ESPN (09:41)
He also spoke glowingly about their blossoming partnership for their country; claiming that they could be the best defensive pair at the upcoming World Cup.
“We could be (the best centre-back pairing after the World Cup), I don’t know. That’s not for us to decide or for us to say.”
“Plus, we play with three at the back, but I know what you mean. If we could be the best? I don’t know, the most important thing is that we play good as a team.”
“You can play good as a partnership, but if the whole team is playing bad, then it’s no good.”
