Earlier today, reports came out about Ibrahima Konate’s release from the France squad for their World Cup Qualifiers match against Iceland. But his injury could be the ‘lucky’ break that another player may need.
Konate will be returning to Anfield to have the extent of his injury assessed by the club’s medical team. As of the moment, there are no reports of Konate having aggravating his problem. Although the 26-year old did sit out during France’s training sessions.
