Manchester City’s massive run of poor form has benefited Liverpool. The Reds would still be fighting for the league even if the reigning champions were playing well but the significant lead at the top of the table has definitely left them with more space for errors in the latter half of the season. Manchester City’s form has raised eyebrows given they have been the epitome of consistency over the years and came into the season on the back of winning four straight Premier League titles.
