Donyell Malen is currently Liverpool’s first choice to come in and challenge Firmino for the starting berth up top.
The Reds have a verbal agreement in place over his potential earnings Anfield but with Liverpool waiting to sell players before making an offer to PSV Eindhoven, they could miss out. The asking price is just €30m.
If they generate the necessary funds in time, a front three of Sadio Mane, Donyell Malen and Mohamed Salah would be one of the quickest front threes in the Premier League.
