A former Liverpool forward has pleaded with the club to move for a €120M midfielder after their shock start to the new Premier League season.
The Reds currently have up to 10 injuries and four of those are in central midfield.
They also have suffered their joint worst start to a Premier League season since 1992 and all the talk is around signing a new midfielder.
With all the noise on social media and in the sports world today, former Liverpool forward Stan Collymore believes the club should go all out on Jude Bellingham now to combat their issues.
Liverpool can’t afford to just wait for Jude Bellingham. They’re currently not good enough to wait
They need to get on their database and tick boxes “Better than Henderson & Milner” & “Available to play more than Keita and Thiago”.
There’s bound to be a big list that appears.

Stan Collymore’s comments on Jude Bellingham
The former Liverpool forward has made the big claim that the club should move for the young superstar now, rather than wait until next season.
He claims the club needs to ‘make a statement‘ as Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City could all pull clear of the Reds.
He said: “Go and get Bellingham now. Test Dortmund’s resolve with a chunky bid and get him in. It’s not just City that Liverpool have to worry about.
“North London is more settled and Chelsea will keep spending. Make a statement, open the FSG vault and get some youthful dynamism in there.”
Is it possible?
Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund teenager all summer, but the German side’s £100M price tag effectively warned off any potential suitors for the window.
The 19-year-old’s current contract runs out in 2025 and the Englishman looks set for another season at Dortmund developing ahead of the World Cup in Qatar in the winter.
With the reported price tag of around €120M, it seems like money that FSG will not fork out for – especially with just eight days left of the window.
The Reds will most likely look for a cheaper solution and move for Bellingham next summer – with talks already conducted behind the scenes.
