Liverpool are expecting a big summer as Arne Slot pushes to revamp his squad in the next transfer window. The Merseyside giants want to sell a few of their forwards before they can bring in younger replacements. It has been claimed that plans are in place for them to move on a few players.

Darwin Nunez has been deemed not good enough by Slot, and Luis Diaz has been linked with a move away from the Reds, with Barcelona and Saudi clubs interested in him.
However, even Diogo Jota is facing a fight for his future at Anfield as the Reds boss is keen to add youthful vigour to his attack ahead of next season.
Mick Brown, an experienced scout with deep knowledge of the game, has claimed that Liverpool are considering selling the trio in the next window.
However, he admitted that the club would prefer to line up replacements before they are sold.
“From what I hear, Slot is not totally happy with the three forward players Diaz, Jota and Nunez”, Brown told the Football Insider.
“They want to better them in the window, and so if they receive good enough offers for them, I think they’ll be prepared to let them go.
“There has been talk of interest in them, so that situation might be one to watch.
“They’ll then use that money to sign new forwards who better suit their style.
“It’s important not to lose too many players if you aren’t able to replace them, especially from a title-winning squad, but they feel improvements can be made.”
