As of February, Liverpool are yet to confirm the future of their best players.
The reds have had a successful season on the field. Arne Slot has managed to transform the team this season. Some players have played their best football under the Dutch coach after an underwhelming campaign last year. Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo have been two of the biggest beneficiaries from Slot’s coaching. The duo have been instrumental to this campaign.
Liverpool are reportedly planning a host of changes to the squad this summer. After signing no players in January, the club could welcome a couple of new faces to Anfield in the summer. The reds are looking forward to how the season ends.
The Premier League, Champions League and League Cup are all up for grabs. Unfortunately, Liverpool crashed out to Plymouth in the FA Cup on Sunday.

This season could be Mohamed Salah’s last at Anfield. He has consistently made it known that the club is yet to offer him a deal on his terms. Salah has been crucial to Liverpool’s season. The forward has 26 goals and 18 assists in all competitions so far. He has proven himself to be the driving force behind Liverpool’s attack.
Salah has a few months left on his current deal at Anfield. If he fails to sign a new deal, he will leave the club for free. Liverpool already rejected bids from the Saudi Pro League in January. Al-Hilal offered mouth-watering terms for the 32-year old, but he insisted on finishing the season.
Former Liverpool defender, Dejan Lovren, has spoken on Salah’s future at the club:
“In the end, I came to the conclusion that the club doesn’t respect him [Salah] enough, or at least not as much as they think they deserve, but that’s another side of the story, it’s all about what goes on behind the scenes. Everyone can agree when they look at the numbers, there is no player who has the statistics like Mohamed Salah, not only this season, but over the last 5-6 seasons in a row, they are not just amazing numbers, they are crazy.
“I think he does not get enough attention despite these numbers, because if it was Messi or Ronaldo, we would see talk every day about why his contract was not renewed and why the right offer was not made to him, but unfortunately, I think Mohamed Salah does not get this attention.”
Based on what Lovren has revealed, Mohamed Salah will most likely leave if his demands are not met. Liverpool could say goodbye to one of their greatest players in the summer.
