Federico Chiesa joined Liverpool last summer, but his first season at Anfield has been nothing less than a disappointment. He has struggled for fitness, and even when he has been fit, the winger has failed to impress Reds manager Arne Slot.
Slot again made his feelings towards Federico Chiesa clear when he left him out of the Liverpool squad in their 1-0 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium over the weekend.
The Italian winger has not started a single Premier League game this season, and there seems to be a feeling that he is rapidly running out of time in the summer.
Chiesa wants to continue at Liverpool, but he seems almost certain to leave Anfield as Slot has not warmed up to him and wants to move him on in the summer.

Chiesa has been heavily linked with a return to Italy, and as many as three Premier League clubs are also interested in the winger ahead of the summer.
However, the Italian could move to Turkey, as according to A Spor, Fenerbahce are interested in getting their hands on the Reds winger this summer.
Jose Mourinho, Liverpool’s old nemesis, is in charge of Fenerbahce and is believed to be interested in signing the 27-year-old winger ahead of the next window.
Fenerbahce are keeping tabs on his situation and are prepared to try and sign him if it becomes clear that he has no future at Liverpool under Slot.
Mourinho remains a big name in world football, and his presence could convince Chiesa to move to Fenerbahce as long as the club can agree on a deal with Liverpool.
