Thiago Alcantara will return to full training next week as the Liverpool midfielder eyes a return to Premier League action in the New Year, according to Anfield Central sources.

The Spaniard returned to team training on the 18th of December but was not involved in any contact sessions as Liverpool's physios were merely ramping up his rehabilitation but he is now getting closer to returning to the Premier League matchday squad.
