An exciting omen – 41 years in the making – suggests Liverpool will beat Real Madrid to win the 2022 Champions League final in Paris.
The semi-finals this season were not short on goals as Liverpool, Villarreal, Manchester City and Real Madrid scored a combined total of 18 goals in four games.
Liverpool beat Villarreal 5-2 on aggregate after a scare in the first half of the second leg while Real Madrid defied the odds to beat Manchester City 6-5 on aggregate despite trailing by two goals in the 90th minute of the second leg.

The final is set to take place in Paris this season and if an exciting omen is to be fulfilled, Liverpool could lift their 7th European Cup later this month.
According to Madrid Zone on Twitter, the last time Real Madrid lost a Champions League final was in 1981 when they were defeated 1-0 by Liverpool in Paris.

Alan Kennedy scored the only goal to secure Liverpool’s third European Cup and the fifth consecutive triumph by an English team.
If Liverpool win this season, it will be their second Champions League title in five years under Jurgen Klopp and seal their return to the very top.
It’s going to be an intense game and history will play a huge role in the makeup of the game after Real Madrid beat Liverpool 3-1 in Kiev in 2018 before the Reds made it to the final a year later to beat Spurs 2-0 in Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.
