The Uruguayan will get his first taste of PL action this weekend away at Fulham in Liverpool’s opening game of the season.
If he can keep up his form shown in training here then he could well score on his PL debut.

Can Nunez fire Liverpool to the title?
Liverpool fans will surely hope so; the 23-year-old was brought in to spearhead their new attack for years to come.
Dias is only 25 years old and whilst Mohamed Salah may be 30, he’s in incredible shape meaning this front three could terrorize defences for years to come.
Whilst they’ve lost the goals and presence of Sadio Mane, Nunez offers a more natural striking option and it could transform the Reds.
The bookies have Nunez joint-fourth at 11/1 to win the Golden Boot but if he can score upwards of 15 goals in his debut campaign then Liverpool will be right up there challenging for the title.

His 34 goals in all competitions last season, including six in the Champions League, should make fans excited – given how many chances Nunez will get in this Liverpool team.
Adding a more physical threat, Liverpool have the option of using the former Benfica man in the air – when typically Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold would opt for a low cross.
If Nunez can stay fit and firing he will improve this Liverpool team and help them compete with Manchester City from the start.
At the end of the season, we could be calling this one of the best signings of the summer.
Pep Lijnders writing about Darwin Núñez after the Benfica games:
“It became clear that we just played against one of the most powerful and exciting strikers in Europe. Keep an eye on this one.” [Intensity]
