Liverpool have one of the best attacking records in the Premier League. Their forward line is one of the few areas of their squad that has genuine strength and depth this season. However, the attacking area is likely to be trimmed and there are serious question marks on the future of Federico Chiesa.
Federico Chiesa was the lone summer signing last summer, but the winger has had injury issues and has yet to start a Premier League game this season.
He has impressed in a few cameo performances, but Arne Slot is yet to trust him enough to give him an opportunity to start a league fixture despite him being fit for a while.
Chiesa wants to stay at Liverpool and prove himself in the Premier League. Liverpool are set to decide on his future at the club ahead of the next transfer window.
“Federico Chiesa likely to be lured back to Italy” – Liverpool journalist

Slot has yet to be convinced by Chiesa, and Liverpool have also been linked with a move for several young forwards, including a future England superstar.
Liverpool Echo journalist Ian Doyle believes Liverpool will likely try to move on the Italy winger when the summer transfer window rolls out.
With a few clubs still keen on Chiesa, the winger is likely to return to Serie A, with Liverpool earning a small profit from his sale in the coming months.
“Come the summer, though, it would be a surprise if Chiesa isn’t lured back to Italy with a number of Serie A teams said to be courting his signature”, he said on Liverpool Echo.
“Should he leave a Premier League winner, and with Liverpool gaining a small profit, nobody could complain too much.”
It remains to be seen whether Chiesa can do enough to convince the club that he has a future at Liverpool.
