Liverpool have become 20-time English champions, but the Merseyside giants are now focused on strengthening the squad in the summer. In some good news for the Reds, one of their long-term targets is now set to be available for a bargain price in the upcoming window.
Arne Slot does not want to stand still and is pushing the club to bring in several new signings during the upcoming summer transfer window as part of his plans to revamp the squad.
The Liverpool manager is keen to have a new-look attack next season around Mo Salah, but he is also pushing to bring in defensive reinforcements.
Dean Huijsen is a top defensive target, but the Merseyside giants could consider rekindling their interest in a long-term target after his price gets slashed ahead of the summer, especially with Ibrahima Konate’s future under the scanner.
Can you name the team Liverpool signed these players from?
Asking price slashed by £40m

Liverpool were interested in signing Marc Guehi but decided against getting into a bidding war with Newcastle United, who made as many as five offers for the defender.
Crystal Palace stuck to their £80m price tag for the England centre-back, and he ultimately stayed at Selhurst Park for one more season.
Tottenham also tabled a bid worth £70m in the winter window, but Palace felt that it was too late in the day to find a proper replacement for the club captain.
With a year left on his contract, Palace are prepared to sell Guehi this summer, and according to TBR Football, they could accept as little as £40m this summer.
His asking price has been slashed by half in a year, and Liverpool could now get back into the mix to sign a centre-back, who is still only 24, and is rated highly inside Anfield.
He could be the authoritative long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk, and could form a wonderful partnership with the Dutchman for the short term.
