Liverpool are hours away from hosting Bologna in the second Champions League game of their season under the bright lights of Anfield tonight.
The Reds are flying at the top of the Premier League after winning five of their opening six league games and have also made a confident start to their Champions League campaign.
They swatted aside AC Milan at the San Siro a few weeks back and are set to face one more Italian side in Bologna tonight at Anfield.
Bologna are Champions League novices and have not been at this level of European football since the 1964/65 season of the erstwhile European Cup.
The Serie A side have several talented young players in their squad and Jerzy Dudek claimed that there could be a future Liverpool play in there.
Dudek tips Bologna midfielder to be talented enough to play for Liverpool in the future
Kacper Urbanski is still trying to find a niche for himself in the Bologna team and made 22 appearances in Serie A last season.
He has made just two starts in Serie A this season but came on at the break in Bologna’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta last weekend.
The midfielder has been tipped to start at Anfield and Dudek stressed that the 20-year-old has the talent to be wearing the Red shirt as well.
He pointed out that he is the kind of player that could excel in a passing team like Liverpool and has been doing the same for Poland for whom he has earned seven caps thus far.
However, the former Red stressed that Urbanski needs to play more minutes at Bologna and be more confident to get ahead of the competition in the team.
“In my opinion, he would feel good in a team like Liverpool, because there are many players who play in small spaces”, Dudek was quoted as saying by the Super Express via Sport Witness.
“You can see that Kacper finds himself well in such a game. He showed it in the national team.
“In Bologna, he still needs those minutes, and that’s a big problem for him.
“He has to be confident and egoistic enough to get ahead of his competitors and fight for the position in the club that he has earned in the national team.”
