Alexander Isak is Liverpool’s top target for the summer transfer window, but it has become increasingly clear that snaring him away from Newcastle United would be complicated. The Reds are not giving up on him yet, and it has been claimed that the club are now considering proposing a swap deal to the Magpies in the summer.
Arne Slot wants to reconfigure his attack in the summer despite Liverpool marching towards winning the Premier League title in his first season as Reds boss.
Liverpool could add wide forwards to their squad despite the fact that Mohamed Salah is staying, but most importantly, the Reds boss wants an upgrade on Darwin Nunez.
They want to sell Nunez in the next transfer window, and work is underway to find ways to get a deal done to sign Newcastle’s Isak, including proposing a swap deal.
Can you name the team Liverpool sold these players to?

It has emerged Newcastle are interested in a player Liverpool have, and the Reds are prepared to work out a swap deal involving the two.
According to the Empire of the Kop, Newcastle are amongst the clubs who have their eyes on Diogo Jota, whom Liverpool are prepared to listen to offers.
It has been claimed that a swap deal has been mooted that could see Isak join Liverpool while Jota moves the other way to Tyneside in the summer.
However, it would still be a complicated deal, and Newcastle remain more than reluctant to sell Isak in the next summer transfer window.
Wolves and Aston Villa are also interested in Jota, who Liverpool are prepared to sell for around £42m to £48m in the coming months.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool manage to convince Newcastle to agree to a swap deal that would also involve the Magpies getting a large chunk of money as part of the agreement as well.
