Arsenal barge into the race for a top Liverpool target

Liverpool want a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson in the summer, and Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez has been their top target for months.

He has been on the radar of other clubs as well, but Richard Hughes, who signed the defender for the Cherries, has made Liverpool the favourites to sign the left-back.

However, according to GiveMeSport, Arsenal are set to throw a wrench at Liverpool’s carefully laid out plans to sign Kerkez in the next window.

The Gunners are also in the market for a left-back, and Kerkez has now emerged as a strong possibility for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Kieran Tierney is heading through the exit door with his contract expiring, while Oleksandr Zinchenko has fallen out of favour, and Riccardo Calafiori has struggled with injuries.

Kerkez is seen as a player with world-class potential and is likely to be available for a fee of around £40m in the summer.
