Liverpool manager Arne Slot is desperate not to lose his top players in the ongoing transfer window. However, a Reds star is now building up momentum to put real pressure on the club to sell him to his dream club ahead of the start of next season.
The Merseyside giants have walked the talk this summer and have sought to properly back Slot after he delivered the Premier League title in his first season on Merseyside.
Liverpool’s pursuit of Florian Wirtz for a British record transfer fee shows that the club mean business and want to build on last season’s outstanding success.
However, Arne Slot is growing increasingly wary of losing one of his top performers in the transfer window, as a star is now pushing Liverpool to let him join his dream club this summer.

Luis Diaz is ready to ditch Arne Slot and Liverpool for a transfer to Barcelona

Liverpool knocked back Barcelona’s approach for Luis Diaz last week, but that has not ended the transfer saga surrounding the Colombian.
The 28-year-old has two years left on his contract and was one of the effective forwards in Slot’s team last season. However, Liverpool do not want to offer him a new deal.
The club’s reluctance to give him a pay rise, coupled with Barcelona’s pull, means Diaz is now agitating for a transfer.
According to Mundo Deportivo via Sport Witness, the winger is prepared to do his best to force his way out of the club this summer.
He believes this is his best opportunity to move to Nou Camp, and he is now keen to push his way out of Liverpool if needed.
Diaz is ready to demand that Liverpool ask for a more reasonable transfer fee to facilitate Barcelona’s move for him in the ongoing transfer window.
