Arne Slot probably didn’t see it coming when Liverpool lost four games in a row right after winning seven. The first loss of the season was against Crystal Palace in the FA Community Shield, but that didn’t cause any problems later.
However, things started to go downhill when the Reds travelled to London for the second time. Oliver Glasner turned the tables again as former Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah scored a last-minute winner at Selhurst Park.
The Merseysiders went on to lose three more games in a row after that match, and Slot was under scrutiny with multiple players under the limelight alongside the Dutch gaffer.
Easily losing leads and depending a lot on last-minute miracles, these were all the criticisms that Liverpool faced. However, despite the chaos, the Reds’ players remained calm and returned to winning ways against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Liverpool all-player meeting

Andy Robertson recently revealed that player meetings at Anfield are a pretty important part of the routine that has helped the club get out of this losing streak.
The left-back detailed that the leaders sent out a “Don’t panic” message after their fourth loss against Manchester United, and they bounced back a few days later.
“When you are on a losing streak, it is important to end it as quickly as you can. But the message from the leaders in the group after Manchester United was ‘Don’t panic.'”
“We need to get our performance levels lifted, and that’s a fact. That’s what we tried to focus on, lifting our performance levels with and without the ball. We knew if we did that, then the result should be on our side.”
“Thankfully, we did that, and then when we go 3-1 up, you see lads starting to enjoy themselves and that’s what you want — people playing with a smile on their face and people enjoying playing for this club, scoring goals, assisting goals.”

The routine at Anfield
Captain Virgil van Dijk and midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai also talked about a meeting being held after their last defeat for assessment. However, it was Robertson who told the media about the normalcy of such meetings.
“We always talk in the changing room — even when we were winning five games in a row. We talk so that’s normal after games, whether we do it in small groups or big groups.”
