Liverpool title hero makes a huge transfer decision

Darwin Nunez has been told to find a new club, and Liverpool need his sale to bring in a new striker in the ongoing transfer window.
However, hopes of a quick deal to move him on evaporated as soon as the forward turned down a move to Al-Hilal before the start of the Club World Cup next week.
According to The Athletic, Nunez is ready to leave Liverpool, but his preference is to stay in Europe and continue to play at the top level next season.
He has interest from Spain, where Atletico Madrid want him, and has also attracted suitors in Serie A.
A move to Saudi Arabia would have been financially beneficial for Liverpool, who could have commanded a fee of around £60m.
However, none of his European suitors are likely to pay such a fee for a striker who scored seven goals in 47 appearances last season.
Nunez’s sale is going to be vital if Liverpool are to make a decisive move on a striker target.
