Liverpool boss Arne Slot will be involved in transfers this summer.
The former Feyenoord boss had little say in the incomings this season, as Liverpool signed Federico Chiesa and Giorgi Mamardashvili. The Georgian keeper was sent back out on loan, while Chiesa remained but has barely featured this season. The Italian scored the consolation goal for Liverpool in their loss to Newcastle in the League Cup final.
This season, the reds have had a huge problem in attack. It became even more apparent in their last two games. Mohamed Salah was marked out of the game during their Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain. No other Liverpool attacker was able to affect the game, while PSGs stars ran riot. In the next game at Wembley, Salah was locked up by Lewis Hall, and Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota barely managed to threaten during the game.
All this has played a huge part in Arne Slot’s plans ahead of next season.

Liverpool could sign Mason Greenwood
Reports claim that the Liverpool boss wants to revamp the attack this summer. Slot is said to want new faces up top that have versatility to play across multiple roles. To make way for these potential signings, Liverpool may make Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz available for sale. Nunez has recently attracted huge interest from Atletico Madrid.
Liverpool were linked with Marseille star Mason Greenwood last month. Fichajes reported that the reds were monitoring the former Manchester United forward. Now, reports from France claim that Marseille may be done with Greenwood. The forward has reportedly fallen out with manager Roberto De Zerbi, who has now given the 23-year old an ultimatum ahead of this summer. La Provence has implied that if things do not improve, Mason Greenwood will be shown the door when the window opens.
De Zerbi had this to say about the forward after he subbed Greenwood in successive games just before the international break:
“I expect more from him,” the coach said. “He has to do more because what he is currently showing is not enough. If he wants to achieve his ambition of becoming a champion, he has to be more consistent, sacrifice more and be more determined.”
Mason Greenwood has 15 goals and 3 assists in Ligue 1 this season.
