Liverpool have plans of revamping the squad after the last two transfer windows.
The reds signed two first team players during last summer. Federico Chiesa and Giorgi Mamardashvili joined the club in the summer. The Georgian keeper was sent out on loan to Valencia for the rest of the season. Liverpool also failed to sign a first team player in January. However, they were active near the end of the window. The club let eight players leave during the window.
Marcelo Pitaluga, Tom Hill and Luca Furnell-Gill left on permanent deals. While Calvin Ramsay, Stefan Bajcetic, Dominic Corness, Kaide Gordon and Jayden Danns left on loan deals.

Liverpool target €100M Chelsea transfer target

Liverpool are looking to revamp their attack ahead of the summer. Reports claim Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez could be sold to re-invest in new signings. Nunez has been linked with a move to Juventus. The Italian club are looking to sign a new striker this summer.
Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Gittens is on the shortlist for potential signings. According to Football Insider, Chelsea have been scouting the Englishman since the season began. The England U-21 international has been in fine form in the Bundesliga this season, with seven goals and three assists.
A report from Bild revealed that Dortmund could be forced to sell Gittens if they fail to make the Champions League. The club are currently in 11th place in the Bundesliga. If they fail to qualify, they would be open to selling him for a fee around €100million.
Jamie Gittens is not a necessary transfer at this time
Jamie Gittens is another great prospect, but for the price advertised, a move would not be advisable. The 19-year old has been playing in the Bundesliga for three years and is yet to score more than 10 league goals. The Englishman is a great prospect, but at his age and ability, he would not be better than any current Liverpool players.
Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez look the most likely to leave the club in the summer, as the club plan to reshape the team. Liverpool also have to factor in the possible departure of Mohamed Salah. If the Egyptian international decides to leave, the club have to bring in a player who can match his end product. This season alone, Salah has 22 goals and 14 assists in the Premier League this season.
Liverpool would be better off spending €100million on a more established first team star.
