Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes and his recruitment team are assessing the squad and are identifying the gaps they need to fill in the upcoming transfer windows.

The Hungarian has been in impressive form this season for Bournemouth and was one of Hughes’ signings when he was the sporting director at Dean Court.
The Liverpool dealmaker is keen to take him to Anfield and according to Hungarian broadcaster M4 Sport, Liverpool have moved in to try and sign him soon.
Work is underway for Kerkez to move to Anfield and Liverpool have opened talks over a potential deal to sign the Bournemouth defender in the upcoming windows.

The Cherries are unlikely to sell in January but there is a chance that a deal could be done for Kerkez to join the Reds next summer.
The Merseyside giants are keen to make sure that they get an early edge in the race as the Hungarian has also attracted the interest of Manchester United.
Liverpool are pushing to secure a deal early but negotiations are expected to take a while before any agreement could be in place.
Bournemouth are expected to demand a fee of £40m before they can agree to sell Kerkez.
