Liverpool vs Eintracht Frankfurt 5 players to consider
Frankfurt has conceded 18 goals in their last five games. So they are susceptible at the back. But they are also good upfront and Liverpool should be wary of that threat. There are a few players though Arne Slot can look at to make the difference at Anfield.
Hugo Ekitike

Ekitike is the most in-form player in the squad. Scoring five times, he is the Reds top scorer this season. Him sitting out against United did not make sense and his introduction added a spark to the frontline.
The Frenchman would obviously be raring to go against his former club.
Jeremie Frimpong

Mohamed Salah is struggling to find form and he was replaced by Frimpong late in the game against Man United.
He is versatile enough to be deployed in either right-back as well as the right winger. For this match Slot may prefer to use him in the back like he did against Atletico Madrid.
Andy Robertson

Calls for his inclusion has come in from various quarters. From former players, to pundits and the fans, they all feel the Scotsman deserves to get more game time.
Milos Kerkez’s faltering displays at left-back makes the case even stronger for the Liverpool vice-captain. With an already great understanding with Virgil Van Djik, Robbo can be the perfect support to Cody Gakpo in attacks.
Federico Chiesa

The Italian often finds himself out of favour with Arne Slot. But the numbers don’t lie. Despite playing just 171 minutes across seven games, Chiesa has had five goal contributions. Scoring twice and assisting three times.
A goal contribution every 35 minutes makes him far more lethal than any of the club’s other attacking options.
Florian Wirtz

You don’t splurge on a player only to make him sit on the bench. Spending north of £100 million, he is supposed to be the future of the squad. The focal point around whom the team is built.
Mohamed Salah served well in that role, but its now time to make the transition and that cannot happen unless the German gets to be in the thick of things.
