Liverpool are claimed to be interested in getting their hands on the 21-year-old Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez in the next summer transfer window.
He has a contract until 2029 with the Catalan giants, but there are suggestions the midfielder wants to move on from the Nou Camp in the coming months.
Lopez wants to play more football, and several clubs across Europe, including Atletico Madrid, are interested in securing a deal to sign the midfielder in the summer.
However, according to reports in Spain (cited by Football365), Lopez would prefer a move to Liverpool over Atletico Madrid or other clubs in Europe.
The Reds are in contact with the midfielder’s representatives, and the 21-year-old is keen to move to Anfield in the next transfer window.
Slot is looking to take the Liverpool squad to the next level in the next window, and Fermin is seen as a target who could be a brilliant player for the Reds in the coming years.
